Privacy Policy
BeeHop – Garden Flyer (iOS and Android)
Effective: 22 September 2026
This policy describes how the BeeHop game ("the app", "we") handles information. The app is developed and operated by Akhil Joy.
Information we collect
The app does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying personal information on our own servers. Your sound setting and game progress are stored only on your device. The only thing sent to our own server is your best score for the shared "Top Bees" leaderboard, described below.
The following data is processed by the app's third-party service providers:
- Advertising data and device identifiers — the app shows ads served by Google AdMob (full-screen ads between rounds and optional rewarded videos). AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads are non-personalized.
- Consent choices — in regions where it is required (such as the EEA and the UK), Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your ad-consent choices and stores them on your device.
- Top Bees leaderboard (our server) — so that iPhone and Android players can share one leaderboard, the app sends your best score, a display name (your Game Center / Play Games name if you are signed in, otherwise a generated bee name), your platform and a random player identifier generated on your device to our server at apps.kidb.in. The server derives the country from the network address of the request (shown as a flag on the leaderboard) and then discards the address; no precise location is collected and no location permission is requested. Country data is provided by DB-IP. The random identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any account.
- Game Center / Google Play Games — if you choose to sign in, your high score is submitted to the leaderboard together with your Game Center or Play Games player name, and the in-game "Top Bees" list shows the public names and scores of other players. This is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Signing in is optional; the game is fully playable without it.
Third-party services
Your choices
- Ads/tracking (iOS): decline the tracking prompt, or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Ads (Android): reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Leaderboards: don't sign in, or sign out of Game Center / Play Games in your device settings. You can also manage your profile visibility there.
Data retention and deletion
We do not maintain user accounts. The leaderboard entry on our server (score, display name, platform, country, random identifier) is kept for as long as the leaderboard exists; to have it removed, email us the display name shown in the game and we will delete it. Deleting the app removes all game data stored on your device and disconnects it from that entry. Data held by Google or Apple (advertising, leaderboards) is subject to their retention policies linked above.
Children
BeeHop is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app shows third-party ads, parents who prefer their child not to see personalized ads can decline the tracking prompt and use their device's parental controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
